This is today’s doodle.  I had started it yesterday and managed to complete it this morning.

As the younger gal is studying for her upcoming exams and I am supervising, I relax and divert my brains to doodling.

Then I decided to colour in the doodle with Tombow brushpen.

Life takes over and other stuffs get pushed aside.  Many of my crafts and bakes have been pushed aside to let more important things take over.

While I had a little time in my hands the last few months, I had a few creative bursts. Below are some of them.

1. Polymer clay pokemons as Pokemon Go was the trendy game that almost everyone was and is playing. I played but I have gotten kind of bored with it. Maybe it could be that I could not get a Snorlax while everyone around caught it.  Yah… I am quite a sore loser.

2.  I started to learn handlettering and simple watercolour painting. So I made a few of these framed art for my colleagues.

3. Painting on white canvas shoes.

The pair below was given away to an old friend and teacher of my younger girl in the last Teacher’s Day.

So this was what I have been up to.

I really love this piece I have managed to do. Can’t wait to do a few more and then maybe let the girls colour it in.

My recent doodles. Trying to learn to draw intricate mandala designs. There are so many beautiful ones out there. I want to do nice ones and print my own t-shirts.

Like I said… I am now working on love. I am using a thicker pen to do this.  Somehow, I find my strokes childish and not intricate.  Or maybe, I am very childish and immature by nature so my doodles came out reflecting my inner self?

I completed this piece in between my lessons. Slowly very slowly I completed this small piece of work.

This one I did it in line with bible phases… but after 2 hours into it, I realised that I am dyslexic. I am upset over the mistake.

Has been rather caught up with work, kids and household chores, though my planners are still decorated with some lapse in some weeks, I did not took pictures of them.

While sitting around and helping the kids with the homework and revision for upcoming exams, I doodled.  It has been awhile since I drew because I think I lost the touch for it awhile back.

Now, I am practising and hoping to have a concept for a colouring book.   I don’t know if it will work out. An idea is an idea and usually my ideas remains as ideas due to lack of support.

In the midst of examinations revision, there is a need to keep very calm. Especially if I am the one coaching through this stage of revision.  So I keep my mind clear by doodling.

These were my doodles for the past few days.

Let me know what u think. Thanks for being here.

Have been doing a lot of doodling.  It really helps to keep me calm and also allows me to quietly be focused on something while my elder girl revises for her upcoming big exams.
